Taylor Lee Stack

Taylor Lee Stack – 53, born in American Falls, Idaho died at his home in Fallon, Nevada August 27, 2008 following a short illness.

For the past 38 years, Taylor worked in the hay business and deeply loved his work and the people in it. He loved raising and showing his longhorn cattle and enjoyed working with and riding his horses. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and traveling. During the past four years he was co-chairman of the North American Cargo Securement Harmonization Committee and was instrumental in writing the new law for the securement of baled hay and straw.

Taylor was a positive spirit and loved life. He always said “I’m not here for a long time, just a good time”.

Taylor was preceded in death by son Taylor Lee Stack Jr., father and mother Gary and Polly Stack, brother Garrett Stack, sister Sallie Lackey and brother-in-law Delmer Lackey.

He is survived by partner Valarie Furtado, son Lee Stack and wife Heather, grandson Barron and granddaughter Kylee Ann, Stockton CA, son Tyler Stack, Reno, brothers Roland Stack, Hanford, CA and Peter Stack, Grass Valley, CA. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. HG
